Services

Catalyst Farm is a unique therapy facility offering farm-based therapy services. We see the entire farm as one big clinic and
with everything from animals to gardening and even completing barn chores, there is so much fun to be had while working on
therapy goals! We offer private therapy services, recreational programs and summer camps.

Private Sessions

Private Therapy Sessions

Tier 1 Sessions

Tier 1 is for families looking for a more relaxed approach to therapy. Goals will be general in nature (e.g., Jimmy will work to improve fine motor skills). We do not require evaluations for this level of therapy. Rather, parent and patient goals alone will dictate therapy goals. The first session is 45 minutes in length so that we can discuss concerns and goals with the family. Moving forward, sessions will be 30-45 minutes in length, depending on patient's needs. The costs are as follows:

Type of Therapy Single 30-Minute Session 45-Minute Sessions
Occupational Therapy (OT) or Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) $45 $67.50
Physical Therapy (PT) $55 $82.50
Co-Treatment with OT and SLP $67.50 $101.25
Co-Treatment with PT and either OT or SLP $77.50 $116.25

Tier 2 Sessions

These sessions are a more traditional approach to private therapy while using the non-traditional setting of a farm. Tier 2 services are billable to insurance. Whether you are paying out of pocket or billing insurance, they are billed using current procedural terminology (CPT) codes. This means the price will vary depending on what therapy interventions we use in the session.

Tier 2 treatment includes the use of structured evaluation tools and specific, measurable goals (e.g., Jimmy will legibly write his name with proper letter sizing and spacing, with 90% accuracy, in 3 out of 4 consecutive trials).

Please contact us for the most up to date list of insurance carries with whom we are in network.

Evaluations

The cost of an initial OT or PT evaluation is $100. The initial evaluation for SLP ranges from $100-$200. Evaluations are only required for Tier 2 services.

Counseling

Catalyst Farm provides counseling services for children and adolescents who are struggling with anxiety, depression, self-worth, emotional growth, behavioral management, and other issues. Therapy sessions are tailored to fit the needs of each child utilizing the farm animals, games, art, and the child’s strengths. All animal-related activities take place on the ground and are interactive and meant to approach the counseling session in a more relaxed, nonjudgmental fashion. The farm animals are responsive to the emotions of the children, and react accordingly leading to many opportunities to address thoughts, feelings, and behaviors all while having fun!

 Type of Therapy Session Prices
Individual Counseling Session 30 minutes
(Recommended only for very young children)
$71.25
Individual Counseling Session 60 minutes $95

Group Sessions

Groups are a great way to get your child engaged in activities with peers. Our groups are not considered therapy sessions, but rather a therapeutic recreational experience for the participants. Groups are run by therapists and there is a focus on improving skills while participating in fun and engaging activities together. Because our groups are recreational in nature, they are not billable to insurance.

Summer Camps

Catalyst Farm hosts summer day camps in June, July, and August. While the camp is not a therapy session, we provide opportunities to facilitate each child's goals while participating in camp activities. The activities included will address skills such as fine motor, gross motor, sensory motor, communication, and social interaction. Each week will include time with the animals and other activities such as gardening and art. Although therapists run these camps, we welcome children of all abilities. It is clear to see that children with special needs and typically developing children benefit from working together.

Our camp "counselors" are a team made up of professionals including OTs, PTs, SLPs and teachers. The team may vary from week to week and may include therapy students as well as student volunteers for extra help when needed.

9:30am-11:30am—Cost is $225 per week
